A Limit Order is an order that you place on the Order Book with a specific Limit Price. You decide and determine the Limit Price. A trade will not be executed instantly (unlike a Market Order), but if the Market Price reaches your determined Limit Price.
In consequence, you save on fees as a Market Maker.
Fee tables can be found here (Multi.io Platform Fees Table)
Limit Orders can be Buy or Sell Orders.
You may use Limit Orders to buy at a lower price or to sell at a higher price than the current Market Price.
Limit Orders are usually placed on major support and resistance levels.
How to use a Limit Order?
The two boxes below are defined by your Trading Pair.
The first box is where you put your Limit Price.
The second box is where you put the Amount of your Pair Coin you want to buy or sell.
The third box is showing the Position (Total) you are planning to buy or sell in Base Coin.
Moving the Amount Slider entirely to the right will directly put in the maximum Position Size in Base Coin you are able to buy or sell for your set Limit Price if using your entire Total (in a Buy Order) or free Position Size (in a Sell Order).
